Day 1: Morocco tour from Melilla / Nador – Fes.
Pick up at the Airport/port of Nador, drive to Fes, we begin our visit to the cultural city of the country. Founded in the 8th century by Idriss II, it’s considered one of the four imperial capitals. During this visit, we will take a tour of the most interesting places, such as the door of the Royal Palace, the Jewish quarter, and the fortress that has the best view of Fes el Bali, the old medina. We take a walking tour of several hours, accessing through the famous Bab Boujloud gate and the medina, which offers us a trip to the past is a part of the city that still lives close to the Middle Ages. Walls that protect it’s interior formed by hundreds of labyrinthine streets organized where customers can experience a thousand smells and flavors in this place considered a world heritage site. Overnight in the Riad.
Day 2: Fes – Ifran – Merzouga Desert.
After breakfast, we set our destination to the Merzouga desert. We will pass through the City of Ifran called the little Switzerland of Morocco, and then through Azrou, where we will make a stop in its Cedar forest and observe a colony of wild monkeys that lives there. We will continue to Zaida for lunch. Then we continue through the Atlas mountains enjoying the Medilt landscape until we reach the small town of Rich, Erfoud, where we begin to feel the air of the Sahara desert. We will take a short break, then we will take the camels, stop in the high dunes for sunset foto, we continue to the camp. Overnight in the camp.
Day 3: Merzouga Desert excursion – Khamlia – Nomad.
After having sunrise pictures, among the Erg Chebbi dunes, we will return to the camp for breakfast. Then we will leave for the dromedaries that will take us back with our guide. Here, the real adventure excursion will begin as thanks to the 4 × 4, we will cross the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Visitors will be able to explore the authentic desert and see the most unusual and unforgettable places that will undoubtedly leave their mark on their minds. The guide will continue with a visit to the nomads, the Mifis mines, and of course, with a well-deserved rest, we will be able to taste the famous Berber pizza. A group of musicians from Gnaoua will entertain this evening in the village of Khamlia. In the afternoon, we will continue our excursion to the Hasilabied palm grove where we will stop to see first-hand the agricultural life of the desert. It is worth mentioning the famous irrigation of the orchards in the area. Before returning to the accommodation, and with the sunset in the background, hikers will climb the highest dune in North Africa. Overnight in the Riad
Day 4 : Merzouga Desert – Todra gorges – Dades valley – Ouarzazate.
We leave the amazing Morocco desert after a great adventure trip. Tour from Merzouga to Ouarzazate via Erfoud, Todra gorges, the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco. We may have lunch in the heart of the gorge then drive through the Dades Valley and Rose valley. Arrive at Ouarzazate in the afternoon. Overnight in the hotel.
Day 5: Ouarzazate – Ait ben haddou – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech.
After your breakfast, we will start our journey by visiting, its authentic 17 century Kasbah, a visit to Taourirt Kasbah, the former residence of the Glaoui. Then continue our journey to visit the famous Ait Benhaddou Kasbah; the oldest Kasbah in the southeast of Morocco and UNESCO world heritage site, before heading and driving via the Tizi Ntichka pass with stops along the way enjoying small Berber villages; before we get to Marrakech.
